Though the Canon PIXMA iP3000 bills itself a photo printer, and it certainly does that well, its text and traditional graphics printing can’t be overlooked. The 1600-nozzle print head that uses Canon’s patented FINE technology produces incredibly detailed lab quality photos, either from your PC or through simple direct printing with the PictBridge Port. Bundled photo enhancing software makes it all the easier. As far as traditional printing goes, expect speeds of up to 22 pages per minute black and white, and 17 pages per minute colour, all with precision laser-like text and clean quality.
